Company timeline and accomplishments
1993 Founded as ADC Information Technologies, Inc.
1996 Acquired Knowledge Communications to build our expertise in design services, engineering, and project management. New services included multi-media retrieval, CATV paging, and intercom systems.
1997 to 2004 Wired K-12 classrooms in nearly every district in the 614 area code as part of the statewide SchoolNet program to bring technology into public schools.
1999 Became the first firm in Columbus, Ohio, to be certified in 802.11 wireless networks.
2001 Changed our name to Integrated Building Systems to reflect our expanded services and ability to provide comprehensive technology solutions.
2005 Acquired a local security firm to meet customer needs for security systems, CCTV, and access-control solutions.
2008 Completed our first distributed antenna system (DAS) high-rise project for one of the country's largest real estate development companies.
2014 Designed Ohio's first enterprise Gigabit Passive Optical Network for the new headquarters of a large public utility company.
2017 Created experiential showrooms called the Tech Studios to help clients and design teams plan and budget for the technology needed in today's connected and collaborative work spaces.
2018 Earned a 25-Year Milestone Award and became an EOS-run company.
2020 Third generation joined the family business.
2021 Received Conway Center for Family Business Community Engagement Award for our annual Earth Day Electronics Recycling Drive.
2022 Hosted our 10th Annual Earth Day Electronics Recycling Drive, bringing our 10-year impact to: 130,397 lbs of e-waste, 42,220 lbs of paper, and 2,036 participants.
