Say hello to Dave Hawse, an Account Manager at Integrated Building Systems. His role is to help new and existing clients find technology solutions to make their teams more productive. Dave collaborates with our engineers, project managers, and the service department to ensure clients get what they need.
Dave is celebrating 1 year at Integrated Building Systems in August of 2023. He was drawn to the company for the small family business atmosphere.
“I didn’t want to be a number in a big company – I wanted a personal connection with my team and my clients,” Dave explained. “The atmosphere here is open and team oriented. You can go to anyone to collaborate and find solutions to problems.”

Like anyone at the company would say, no two days are the same. Dave spends some days working with clients and visiting their offices, others working with our engineering team, or even checking in on active job sites.
“I like solving problems, whatever that looks like,” Dave said.
Put me in, coach!
“On the weekends, 99.9% of the time I’m with my family. I love coaching baseball and soccer,” Dave said.
Dave’s family includes his wife Traci, who he has been married to for 9 years, and their kids Owen (7) and Zoey (3). Coaching became a weekend hobby for Dave to have fun while connecting with his kids.
This year, Dave has also been working on his golf game in his spare time.

First job: Neighborhood paper boy. My family had a monopoly on that job in Vandalia for like 10 years, it was passed down to my younger brothers.
Words to live by: “If you are 15 minutes early, you are on time. If you are on time, you are late. And if you are late, you didn’t want to be there.”

Favorite restaurant: Mastro’s in Chicago. The lobster mashed potatoes are the best.
Can’t live without: Coffee. Especially with young kids!

Best advice: Showing up is half the battle. The most important thing about you is being present.
